Who Knew??

Apparently, Bush did. According to the Washington Post, Bush was briefed about the potential devastation of Katrina two days before the storm hit. He knew the levees would break in a Category 3 storm, and Katrina was Category 5.

Did Bush lie when he said, "'I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees. They did anticipate a serious storm."? Only if you think he actually pays attention to National Security briefings, like "Bin Laden seeks to attack targets in the US." He was, after all, on another month long vacation at the time.
