US Swimming in Unreported Debt
Even while the Bush administration celebrates declining deficits, the US debt is accelerating because of accounting fraud. This year, the US is about to hit $9 trillion in debt, or 75% of GDP.
Don't expect Democrats to call them on it. They don't have the political spine to fix this either.

Bush's Economic Legacy
Nobel Laureate (2001) Economist Joseph Stiglitz assesses Bush's legacy. My main complaint about this article is that he maligns Herbert Hoover too much.
